My cousins from Vegas came to hang out. I always get stuck babysitting a lot whenever we hang out with the family...ah, well..

Anyways, we had a blast at the Trunk or Treat and I got a major jackpot of Smarties! Love those things... :)

We're having some pretty dang good homemade chicken noodle soup tonight and it smells SO good...

Football, Movies, and Gizzards

So, this weekend has been awesome! On Friday, I went to the varsity football game and hung out with a lot of my friends. We took some crazy pictures that will hopefully be posted on facebook soon. :)
Then yesterday, we went to see a movie. We couldn't decide on one, so we just decided to see The Legend of the Guardians or whatever that owl one is called. We were talking pretty much the whole time, and I fell asleep! That's never happened before...
We also went to a school play, Peter Pan, that a friend is in! She did amazing, and the play was really good. :)
In the movie, the owls were always saying "You need to follow your gizzard!" We all thought that a gizzard was a heart. So I asked my dad and he said, "A gizzard is this thing that crunches up your food. Like, when an owl eats a rock, the rock helps digest the food."

High School

I'm officially in high school now!! I really like it, although it's stressful. The classes I'm taking are:
PE 1, Geometry C, State Requirements (Half Health, Half Driver's Ed), Honors English, Spanish 1, and Biology!
My favorite classes are State Requirements and English! :)
This coming week is homecoming week! I can hopefully go to the football game (I have a lot of friends on the team), and there's the dance, which I can't go to. :/
But maybe I'll get to do something AMAZING!! :)

Girls Camp! :)

Girls Camp 2010 was pretty dang amazing! I had so much fun. I met a bunch of new people, and the friends that I already have I got closer to! My leaders are great, and they made everything really fun and enjoyable and I am so grateful for their devotionals. I was a third level this year and in certification I learned how to use a compass and how to do CPR and really important stuff like that. It was boring when I was doing it, but I'm glad that now I know how. We had something called Golden Hours in the morning, right after breakfast. The topic this week was the temple. We learned about baptisms for the dead and about how important it is to be sealed in the temple. It was really cool, and the four women in the stake young women's presidency gave the lessons. In our campsite, we had so much fun laughing and talking and eating a ton of candy! It was just really great, and I'm so glad that I went! :)

Man, I haven't posted in a really long time. I've been pretty busy this past week. Last Saturday, I went to the Sacramento Temple with the Yuba City Ward Youth. It was amazing. I had a really great time. In the afternoon, I went a run with our family friend Trevor and my sister Courtney. We did a 5K. It was really refreshing. Sunday, I gave a talk in Sacrament meeting. I was nervous but I think I did okay. Monday, I had school and homework and F.H.E. Tuesday, I had school and homework and Mutual. We watched a video, had an amazing lesson, and ate yummy food. Wednesday, I didn't have any homework so I read most of the day. Thursday, school and homework. Yesterday, I had a really good day and I was really happy. I went to Target right after school and got a new straightener and a new dress!! I didn't do my homework - ha ha ha. I stayed up until 10 playing Wii with my parents and Trevor. Today, my dad had to go to Chico to fix a friend's car. He was there for about 8 hours. We played Wii and had a yummy lunch. Pizza! Then, we rode bikes to the park and and played on the swings. :) :) We rode home, played Wii again :P, ate dinner. And then my parents went to a basketball game and out to dinner. :)

These are all pictures from my aunt Ali's wedding. She married a really nice guy named Dan Phelps. He is super funny and I like him a lot! :) Anyway, the first one is of me and my mom! It's weird to look at pictures where I'm shorter than her. Just this summer I was shorter than my mom and now I'm about half an inch taller! The second one is of me in my uncle Mike's tie. I love that pose. :P The next one is of me and my grandpa. He doesn't usually smile in pictures so it's cool to have one of us and he's smiling! :D Then there's one of me and my grandpa dancing. We had an amazing time dancing with all the cousins and uncles and grandpas. It was really fun.Then there's the one of my mom. She always says the faces she makes in pictures are super weird but I think she looks really cute! Then there's one of my little brother Jared and my cousin Livy. They say they are in "love"! :P Ha ha ha! It's so cute!

Christmas!

Christmas this year was amazing! I had so much fun! From Santa I got tons of cute new clothes, a gift card to a bookstore, a teddy bear from Aero, and more cute clothes! Every year, each person writes there name on a piece of paper and puts it in a pile. Then everybody picks a different name and buys a present for that person! My baby cousin Tessa got me! She got me two picture frames and a cute CD! My aunt Tiffany, Tessa's mom, combined my birthday and Christmas presents and took me to Aero to get me some clothes from there too. I got new undershirts and a cute new bag! My grandma was there with us, and got me a new adorable coat! I love it! I've wanted it for a while, and now I have it! Yay! THANK YOU SO MUCH GRANDMA! From my grandma, I got some new littlest pet shop! I collect them and now I have 47! They are cute little bobble head animals! I love them! :) From my mom, I got an Aero sweatshirt and a cell phone! Woohoo! I love it. It's super cute, and I have unlimited texting now! On Saturday night, all the adults went to see Sherlock Holmes and to dinner. It was my aunt Annette's birthday on Monday so that's why they went. Happy Birthday Annette! I got some more money and now I have saved enough (finally) to get an iPod nano! YAY! I am super excited. Thanks everybody for the amazing presents and the fun time we had! We played lots of Wii and soccer! Love you guys so much!

Thanksgiving

Our family came to Las Vegas, Nevada for Thanksgiving. My mom's sister Tiffany and her husband Mike and their 4 kids, Caleb, Aubrey, Luke, and Tessa live there. There were a lot of kids. It was pretty insane. I think there were 14 kids total. Plus 7 adults! I was the oldest, by a lot. The next cousin is Mya Lyman, she turned 8 in August. Well, I guess my sisters were there...Anyway, we got there on Wednesday night. We played games until pretty late at night. We went to bed. The next day was Thanksgiving. We had a ton of yummy food and I was so full! I think we still have leftover turkey! On Friday, the girls left at 3 AM to get to Old Navy. It was Black Friday. At around 8:45, they came to pick up me and my sister Courtney, and our cousin Mya. We went to Target and the mall. We didn't get home until 2:30 that afternoon! We were all super tired and in need of showers :P. On Saturday we slept in. We went to an aquarium. It was pretty cool to see the sharks and sting rays! On Sunday, we just hung out until church at 11 AM. My mom's sister Carrie was in Vegas too, and she left after church. There was a lot of traffic and they didn't get home until 9 PM! At least they had an okay trip. Today, Monday, the adults are going to see the Messiah at the Vegas University at 7. I'm going to babysit all the kids. Since Carrie left, there are now only 10 kids. That's still a ton! Tomorrow we are driving back home. I am not looking forward to that! Thanks to Tiff and Mike for letting us stay in their home for Thanksgiving and for an amazing time! I love you guys!

VACATION!

I can only think of one plus side of moving and that is that we get to come to Utah and miss some school! Yay! Two of my cousins have very special days this weekend. Tessa Jane Boulant, who was born in July, is getting blessed and Mya Rachelle Lyman, who turned 8 in August, is getting baptized! I am having a lot of fun with my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents!

I have some sad news. Our family moved to Yuba City, CA. Our new address is 2065 La Rabyn Way, Yuba City, CA, 95993. I hope to see my buds soon! I miss them a lot. All of them. Anyway, the Saturday before we moved, most of the beehives in my ward and 1 of the mia maids came to my house to surprise me! They carried me out to the car and we drove to the Fogleman's house and had a really yummy breakfast. Some of us even jumped into the pool in our PJ's! It was very fun. The night before, I went to my friend Megan's birthday party! It was a bunch of fun! I got to hang out with my friends and we watched a movie called Saving Sarah Cain. It was very sad but happy at the same time! Also on Saturday I had another birthday party to go to. Jeremy turned 13! We swam in his pool and played a fun game. We had diving, cannonball, and bellyflop contests too! It was awesome! Then on Sunday, we went to church for the last time. I had a hard time saying goodbye to my friends but we'll see each other soon! I can't wait to see you!

Jen Lynch, our family friend, got a new camera. One day we went to the park and Jen decided to take pictures of the kids. They thought it would be awesome if they got pictures while jumping! This is Dallin jumping off of a little rock at Wildwood park.

Girl's Camp!

I was at Girl's Camp from June 8th to June 12th. It was really awesome and spiritual. I will have picture later but for now I just want to tell you what I liked most about Girl's Camp. So, first of all I loved the Bishop's Night. All of the people in our ward who came to Girl's Camp came to our campsite, Merediki, and all of the girls cooked lasagna and bread for them. We made salad too. It was really yummy. Then, Bishop Hickman talked to us about our talents and how we should develop our talents that Heavenly Father has given us. We made crests that represented us. I put on mine music notes, a rainbow, and a laughing smiley face. On the back were comments made by the other girls. They wrote about our talents and what they liked about us. It was really cool to see what the other girls thought of me. I also loved the Destiny Challenge. The theme this year was: We are creatures of Divinity, Daughters of the Almighty, Limitless is our potential, MAGNIFICENT IS OUR FUTURE. We had a challenge to do 3 things. The first one was to read Joseph Smith's first vision in the scriptures. The second thing was to read the camp song, I will follow God's Plan for me and pick a word that stood out to you above the rest. Third was to pray in a peaceful spot all by yourself. I went out to the meadow and sat down by the stream. I prayed for about 10 minutes. I felt the spirt stronger than I have ever before except for one time. That was really amazing. There's no other word for it. The last thing I want to talk about is the Testimony Meeting. All of the girls were invited to share there testimonies on the last night. I bore mine. I cried really hard then. It was really cool to realize how lucky I am to not have to go through some of the things that those girls had to go through. It was also really amazing to see that prayer and faith were two of the main things that helped them get through it. I know that prayer and faith are a big part of my life and I know that if I didn't have them, I would be really lost. So, all in all, this week has been a really memorable experience for me.
